Roofing Systems

Roofing Systems are integral to the proper functioning of PEBs and other industrial structures, as they provide protection from the elements. Since the structures are made form steel and are often spread out in a wide area, they are responsible for the safety and security of the machinery and goods within, which are often exceptionally expensive are thus require round-the-clock protection from outside forces, irrespective of the time of the year. This means that our systems need to be hardened against all types of corrosive elements, while also maintaining their load bearing capacity for years. This load bearing is not just limited to the structure itself, but also involves hosting a variety of vital ventilation and rainwater collection systems to help manage the internal integrity of the structure.

Towards this end, our offerings utilize both roof decking sheets as well as ribbed steel panels to provide exceptional strength and load bearing capacity. Depending on the requirements of the client, we add varying levels of thermal insulation as well. This insulation not only prevents rainwater and other debris from entering the building, but also keep the structure temperature controlled in both summer and winter seasons. In addition to the basic structure, we also add various other components to make the roof properly weather proof, such as drip trim, rack trim, ridge cover, gutters, peak panels and more. These components add together to form a solid protection against nature, even without the use of traditional brick and mortar roofs. The system is then further augmented with special rainwater collection systems that lead the fresh water to artificial storage containers that can then be used to supplement the water requirements of the site. For further comfort, we also utilize various types of ventilators, such as ridge ventilators, turbo ventilators and more to naturally expel the excess heat produced by the machinery that will be housed in these structures. Finally, we add the necessary sealing material to finish the design. Of course, all of this is customizable so the clients can match their specific requirements.
